What score counts?
Your official College Board score, on both ends. If you've never taken the SAT, an official full-length Bluebook practice test is your baseline. We never use our own estimate to decide a refund.
How big is the guarantee?
It scales with where you start and how long you prep — the lower your starting score and the more runway you have, the bigger the guaranteed gain. Use the calculator above to see yours.
Which plans include it?
The Annual plan and the SAT-date passes. (Monthly isn't covered — switch to Annual to activate the Promise.)
What do I have to do to qualify?
Actually practice. Each plan comes with a simple, visible practice target — questions answered, days active, and full-length practice tests — scaled to how long you have. You'll always see your progress toward it.
What if I improve, but not by the full amount?
You still get a full refund. If your official gain is below your guaranteed number, you're covered — and you can choose the refund or keep going for your next test.
Eligible starting scores run up to ~1400. Full terms, including practice requirements and the claim window, are shown at enrollment. The Promise refunds Perfect1600 fees only — not the College Board registration fee.
