Our story
I built this for my kid. Now I’m building it for yours.
I’m a dad. When I sat down to help my kid get ready for the SAT, I figured it would be simple: buy the books, sign up for a course, find a tutor. I tried all of it. And I watched my kid do the thing every one of those tools was quietly training them to do: look at the answer, nod, and move on.
What I kept seeing at our kitchen table
They’d miss a question, read the explanation, and tell me they got it. A week later, a question just like it would show up, and they’d miss it again. It wasn’t that they weren’t smart, or weren’t trying. It was that everything we’d paid for was great at handing them the answer and terrible at teaching them how to get there themselves.
If you’re a parent reading this, you probably know that feeling: spending money and evenings and still watching your kid feel stuck. And if you’re a student, you know it from the other side. You “understand” the solution when it’s in front of you, but on test day you’re on your own, and the method was never really yours.
So I built what we actually needed
I wanted something that would do for your son or daughter what I couldn’t do alone at that table: be there in the moment they get stuck. Not to spoil the answer, but to give a nudge. And then, once they’ve answered, to walk through the method, the repeatable way to crack that type of question, so the next one like it feels easy.
The answer was never the point. The thinking is. Learn how to approach a question type once, and you can handle a hundred more like it.
My promise to you
Every question here is written by experts and built to mirror the real Digital SAT, so the work you put in actually shows up on test day. The name, Perfect1600, isn’t a guarantee of a perfect score. It’s the standard I hold this to: prep that teaches the way learning actually works.
To the parents: I built this so you can stop being the answer key and go back to being in your kid’s corner. To the students: you don’t need someone to hand you answers. You need someone to teach you how to find them. That’s what I’m here to do.
